Help needed rehoming or advice

I am a petsitter and 8 weeks ago I took in a 4 yr old female cckr spaniel. The owner will not be coming out of the hospice and his family have asked my help in looking for a home for the dog. She is very energetic and has a little bit of fear aggression, and not good with stangers or children. she is very Loving when she gets to know you.

I think she would be more suited as a working dog rather than a house pet as she has sooo much energy.

Where do I start? I think if she goes to a normal rescue she may be put down

Can anyone help?

Thanks, just had a quick read and they wont take any dog that has shown aggression, understandably

Perhaps give them a call for some advice, they may know of someone who takes in more difficult dogs, especially as it's "only" fear aggression (know it's not ideal but better than a dog that's aggressive all the time)
