Daddy Long-Legs

Yesterday evening, I was sitting, trying to watch a bit of TV, when Thorgeir set off on a barking jag. Stare at the ceiling, woof woof woof!

I saw his nose move as though following something - and that is exactly what he was up to. He was yelling at the Daddy-long-legs (cranefly) who hadn't asked his permission to be there!

Bruce does that, he drives me mad....especially if it's a fly that makes a ''buzzing' noise

All I hear is a *snap, snap* as Maggie tries to catch the things.

It would be useful if she could warn me about them as yours does as I'm scared of the horrible little beasties.

Just on another note, has anyone else noticed the huge number of daddy-long legs type spiders about?

Yep, they're here too. Thorgeir shouts at them, too - perhaps he thinks they're Daddy LLs who don't fly?

Although Dougal doesn't chase them, we have two cats who think they are fantastic fun to try to catch Needless to say they both usually fail miserably with hillarious results (think of a cat flying up in mid air chasing a daddy long legs)
