bloat: urgent dogsey vibes needed :( (update @post 86)

Ive just got back from the vest...had to rush my mums weimeraner, smoke there.

he wasnt himself this morning, gradually getting worse vomiting drinking loads...by the time i got there he had collapsed and his abdomen was huge- rushed him straight to the vets and he is in surgery.

I dont think they have much hope of him surviving this. He used to be my dog when i lived at home and i love him soooo much.

Please keep your fingers crossed he makes it through.

So sorry to hear this. I lost my dane to a second bout of bloat so know what you are going through. On a positive note, she did survive the first one.
