Scooby Fell Terrier DOB 2012 Lightwater



Scooby needs a supportive family to offer time and tolerance to allow their new dog to settle. Scooby will enjoy a terrier aware family who are tolerant and accepting of his Terrier instincts which should not be suppressed or tried to train out of him; A terriers instincts need expression. Scooby is a good family terrier, but secure terrier proof garden and front door / back gate vigilance. Scooby's new family with be given guidance to keep his skin in good condition. Scooby can happily with one or more dogs. NB Our Rescue asks owners to maintain dogs on lead in public spaces and manage encounters, as dog law changes place dog's lives at greater risk.

Known background: Scooby was found stray/abandoned and unclaimed within a council pound. We stepped forwards to offer a Rescue place and save Scooby's life. Scooby is now neutered, chipped and fully vaccinated. Scooby has been living with a female Terrier x and an older child. He is losing his home due to his owners dog grooming business and Scooby's sensitivity to noise. Scooby is truly loved and his owners want him to be able to relax in a quieter home environment

About Scooby: Scooby is an easy terrier with heaps of character, social by nature in his encounters within his family, with visitors and strangers outside. He loves other dogs especially to play and needs a secure garden and dog company to the full. Scooby would fit in to any situation with terrier aware people, who can ensure his safety outside the house and exit management. Scooby is a quiet little man in himself and owner and neighbour or dog groomers and Scooby is over stimulated with constant canine visitors arriving and their barking Scooby joins in! Scooby can live with dog savvy children over 6-7 years. Scooby now needs a home where he can relax more. Travel in footwell or on seat secured.

Scooby is a compact 2-3 year old Fell Terrier with light beige short coat and docked tail. Scooby is a bright and motivated dog who loves to play (especially with balls) and is active and fun. Scooby has promise at agility/flyball having had a couple of lessons and is very biddiable, food and toy motivated ( small/medium class for agility). Scooby loves company and relaxing and cuddling up to you, as he is a very affectionate dog. Scooby will remain at home with our family until his right home is found.
