A head on your beer??

Do you prefer a head on your pint... or do you think thats losing you some beer...

Personally I quite like a nice frothy head on mine

Many years ago, Guinness fought a court case on exactly that. If I remember aright, it was decided that, legally, the pint includes a half-inch of head.

That'll do.

Yeah I'd be happy with that. So often now in pubs you get nothing at all. Was great when I was last in Holland, got a proper pint there with the guy using that spatula thing to scoop off the froth that was overflowing.. brill

I used to work in a bar, and I always reckoned that less than half an inch of head meant the beer was too flat

Ooh you've got me thinking about a beer now. Might manage a swift one later but I'm driving to Aberdeen in the morning so it'll just be a couple.

I prefer some head personally, but not too much.

I was going to go further with the inch thing but I'd only get told off.
