Una at the Friesian Inspections

Hi,

Una went along to the friesian inspections yesterday. A very long day, leaving at 5:30am and we didnt get back til about 5pm! She was a good girlie though, it was a bit more brutal than i had expected and prepared her for. The inspection involved her being chased by a man yelling, shaking a bottle of rocks and cracking a lunge whip So i was not overly happy about that, she is just a baby. But anyway, has put me off taking her again!!

But... She did me proud and got awarded a Premium which is fantastic and means she's in the top 20-40% of friesians in the world She didnt ever really settle into a stride and show off her movement like she does at home as she was so tense and scared with all going on!! But i managed to get some nice pics.

Beautiful, she certainly scrubs up well!!! You must be really proud of her, I know I would be.

Do you have to have someone else handling them? Whoever is moving her looked like they had her striding out really well.

Oh there's the beautiful girl. You are so lucky. She is magnificent. She looks fabulous and did so well. She is a credit to you xx

You hand the horse over to a runner (the guys in white lol) to present them for the inspections. I'd never be able to run fast enough to keep up with Una!
