NOw that's how horses should look at this time of year!!! Charlie ALWAYS looks well covered even in the winter, they are a real credit to you Jessica. I know you're struggling with grass, but I also know there's plenty of hay to hand too no matter what the time of year. This is how horses should look, and I love to see them looking as they should. Theres no reason whatsoever for them not to be in good condition at this time of year (or any other for that matter!!) and as you can see, Charles certainly doesnt go without his food lol! He could stand to lose a bit bless him! I think he's preparing himself for winter

bless they look good, do you keep them at home? just nosey cos it looks like a garden they are in, I have never kept my horses at home, but its not unheard of to see them in the garden lol

Well, i am a BAD horsey mum My Charlie is sick

They were vaccinated on Saturday (just before these pics were taken!!) and now he's not well. His chest is swollen up really badly and he has this huge sack of skin, full of fluid hanging between his front legs... And he's so sore. In a lot of pain... Poor baby I feel so bad for him...

He's got to go on a course of bute...
