Uist Hedgehog Rescue
I was sent this email & thought someone would be interested in helping
Hedgehog Rescue Coordinator required
The Uist Hedgehog Rescue (UHR) coalition is looking for a reliable person to act as representative on the Uist Islands (based on Benbecula) during April and the first half of May 2006.
This person would be responsible for coordinating a small number of volunteer hedgehog catchers, receiving hedgehogs brought by locals and coordinating with UHR who will pick up batches of hedgehogs and transport them to the mainland.
Experience of working with wild animals is required.
Accommodation will be provided, all costs covered and salary negotiable.
If anyone is interested in this rewarding opportunity to help our wild animals, or would like to discuss it further, please contact Fay at the British Hedgehog Preservation Society (bhps@dhustone.fsbusiness.co.uk, tel: 01584 890 801).
Please forward this e-mail to anybody who you think may be interested.
Many thanks
Yours
Ross Minett
