Tara, every day we miss you, but Christmas was a special time for us, it was your first Christmas last year and sadly the only one you had.

I hope that up there at the bridge you know how much you mean to us sweetheart, and we light a candle to remember a very special girl.

It has been 7 months since Tara left us for the bridge, God called her to rest without us there to say goodbye and I still find this the hardest part to deal with, even though deep down I know she was in pain.

I try not to humanise my dogs, but Tara was by Banana Baby, she was so fragile, even for a giant, and we felt so helpless as we could do nothing to cure her.

It wa this time last year that we started to investigate her illness.

Thank you Liverbird for this beautiful memorial which I share with you all now.

anniversaries are so hard and it's almost impossible not to go over what happened, despite the pain that brings. it was tara's story that was my introduction to this site and although i never was privileged enough to meet her, she touched a place in my heart as she has done to everyone who read this thread.
