Hope you got some good news from the ENT man and also had a nice meal, as I recall there are some good places in Manchester 'tho you do need to know where to look.

Hi, nice to see you, and you are right, it seems to be when they run that attracts the dogs attention.

Yes, I was told decades ago that sheep are the dumbest of creatures. Don't know if you agree but they would certainly do best to stay rock still rather than runing about.

Hi Lynn, was thinking about you and your car yesterday, it was as I drove past our local garage where I need to have 'Flo' serviced sometime soon, but I'm worried that as she is running OK at the moment they might do something to upset that

Glad all is well at last with yours.

Hi Griff dearest, is that a couple of pints in the Kings Arms, and a couple in the Nags Head, and a couple in the Fox & Hounds hence why we haven't seen you until now

Only kidding, I'm sure you are the most responsible of people when it comes to alcohol.

One thing about living in a small village is that there is usualy only one pub. Get thrown out of there and you've nowhere to get a couple of pints

evening All - Good news from the ENT chap there is some scarring from my original emegency op but nothing else to cause any worry at all. So went for a chinese in Manchester by way of celebration, very good it was too.
Thanks to everyone for their supportive messages - it's always good to know there are folk on your side.
what a shame about the old chap, Mandy - just hope he didn't suffer too much.
Big well done to your two Harvey for ignoring the Woollies. I too am inclined to think of them as being a bit on the stupid side - suicidal even at times. The Mem loves them to bits whereas I'm a cattle person and although I've owned a lot of the daft beggars over the years I've never felt the affinity to them that I have with cows.

Ages since I went for a chinese, remember the days of the old Kwok Man, before it went posh and upmarket
I think there's a saying that sheep are always looking for a way to kill themselves in as inconvenient way as possible. Can't quite remember how it goes, but it is very apt
