We are in

Well, we have been in Ireland for 2 and a half years almost, living in a tatty mobile home, (all tho quite cosy lol), slowly doing bits on our semi derelict cottage, depending on funds and time. Sooooo, we have bitten the bullet and moved in, its still a bit of a building site but lots more room, a few creepy crawlies still inhabit and Im just hoping the rats dont move back in, and that Jess the JRT is up to the job lol. We spent our first night in here and it was ok, much warmer than the mobile, the dogs were a bit confused, specially Sid as he is a couch potato and we left his sofa across in the mobile. Will post some before and after pics later.

All the best in your new home. You are living in beautiful peaceful surroundings and that is the main thing, I lived in a building site for many years with this house, just doing things as I could afford, and it is lovely to be able to do things as YOU want rather than someone else.
Rather the fantastic views and pleasant people even if things aren't quite there yet.
