Results today, so proud!

Today Maddy was in a few classes and we came home with 2 1sts, a 2nd, a 3rd and Best puppy in breed. I'm so proud of Maddy, it was a long day and she did me proud, bless her.

Our last judge I managed to have a chat with afterwards, and she said she only lost out where she did because of immaturity, she's still very 'babyish', but she's going to be an absolute stunner when she's an adult and she'll keep her eye out for us! Awww wasn't that a nice thing to say

Not bad for a dog breed that doesn't exist!

(I hope your "Pit Bull" was muzzled in a public place )

I've only ever shown my Kali in wee local shows, more to take part in the local community than out of any idea that he was a champion dog, but it's great to see your dog appreciated and carrying off his/her token ribbon!

The first time Kali was placed in our County Show (he got a 3rd), I was "over the moon", despite the fact that it was p'ing down rain, cold, dank and dull!

You are quite right to feel proud of your friend - remember to reward her for being a clever doggie - and, treasure the memory, there's nothing quite like the first achievement!

Here's hoping for more success in the future! She'll get better with more experience (my Kali did, when he finally realised that it was a show, and not a barking party! )

You'll find that confidence gets transmitted along the lead, in both directions!

Snorri
