Vivisection lab demo !8th june

More info
SAT 18TH JUNE - NATIONAL DEMONSTRATION
Save the Harlan Beagles
Meet 12noon - Loughborough Town Centre (Venue to be announced shortly)

Harlan in Belton, Loughborough, are one of they few remaining suppliers of beagles to vivisection laboratories left in the UK. Over 1,000 dogs are held in the kennels onsite at any given time - 250 of which are killed each year as surplus to stock.
...
Beagles at Harlan are forced to live in bare concrete pens, often covered in faeces with little more than sawdust to sleep on. Most of these sentient creatures will end up being poisoned in toxicology experiments inside laboratories.

Many of the key clients of Harlan Belton are closing down UK operations, meaning the site is increasingly unprofitable and more dogs will be killed each year.

A march will be held around Loughborough town centre informing locals about the sick company on their doorstep, followed by a protest at the nearby site of the kennels.

Join us on the 18th June in Loughborough and help Save the Harlan Beagles!

The person thats posted says they very much doubt it but wouldn't take kids themselves and to contact the organizers if you have any questions...if that helps at all?

not air fresheners but medicines? as for the conditions they ae kept in surly protesting for the legal side to change would benifit them more and animals on a whole. when I spoke to the RSPCA about my neighbours dog being kept out in the cold over xmas when it was minus 10 they replied the dog is fed and has a shed as shelter so they could do nothing.

I can't be there no transport but I wish all luck to the demo.

Why do they used Beagles in experiments opposed (is that the right word) to other breeds?
