I just popped the chippy thats all.

Honestly all I did was pop to the chippy honestly - that was all.
Parked - brought chips - returned to car. Lady standing by a blue car as I approached I heard her mumble something and I said "are you okay?" she said "my remotes not working" she was 'clicking away' but nothing happening - said here let me try I clicked her remote nothing.
I asked where she was going so I could drop her on my way home.
She said she'd phone her hubby to come and get her but thanks. I said okay and turned to put my chip dinner in the car I clicked my clicker and "HER" car opened then we both realised - she was trying to open my car (blue rover) with her car remote - and I was trying to open my car with her fob. We both smiled at each other I got in my car she clicked and got in her car and we drove off.

Yet another nutter and I destined to meet - my excuse I cleaned and polished the car this afternoon.

I did that once outside the doctors, i stood ages pressing my remote at a silver astra. It was only when i looked up the road there was another with a blue cover on the back seat strangely similar to what we use as a dog cover for Toby

Needless to say i just sloped off up the street

I've not done that but I once got into the wrong car and found myself sitting in a car of complete strangers!

@KAzz

I did something similar a few years back. I walked through the supermarket car park to what I thought was my car. When I got to the boot of the said car, I got my key out and put it in the lock and tried to open it. I couldn't get this damn thing to open. I tried frantically for 10 minutes, cursing the car all that time.

Something made my look at the registration plate, and to my horror, I was trying to get into the wrong car It was the same make, model and colour as mine, just had a slightly different reg number

My car was parked a few feet away from this one. I don't think I've loaded a car with shopping as fast My youngest daughter hasn't let me forget it either
