Hi Beaniman as with so many things the hair loss could be due to a variety of conditions, Kesshas really needs to see a vet to find the cause of the problem .
I would not class it as a real emergency and she will I am sure be fine until Monday.
What is the skin like where the patches are bald, are there signs of flaking/redness/weeping..is it shiney? Is she scratching /irritated?

Are you meaning.. bald as in NO guard hairs or undercoat??

Or just no undercoat.. if its that then she might just be dropping her coat for the summer..

if its totally bald then thats a different matter!!

Sammies sometimes suffer from alopecia.. similar to what humans have... could be various things from really nasty things to stress..

Is she due in season?
Sammies sometimes shed when their seasons are due, again this would be her undercoat. If shes loosing guard hair aswell i would do as Louise says and get her to the vet.
