I have seen a pic of the new pup and she is so lovely I'm not going to stay cross for long. Anyway it's not the pups fault is it.
I had a long time off my feet because of an ankle injury so I can well understand your frustrations. Have you contacted the hospital about your problems getting around? Sods law, I didn't and it was a neighbour who told me they will often lend out zimmer frames complete with trays so that at least you can get half a cuppa to where to want to drink it. Wish I had known about it because not being able to move a drink from the kitchen to the lounge was my biggest frustration

All I can do is send gentle cyber {{{hugs}}} - it really is horrid when you cannot do what you want to do.

Sometimes trying to keep your miseries to yourself just builds up, so being able to unload and have a rant amongst friends, albeit cyber friends, really does help.

I honestly do not know how I would cope without cyber support, so I think I will send you a few more gentle cyber {{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}.

Thanks everyone for the licks, hugs and snuggles.
Brierley, I have a very good hubby who will carry the tea, I would just rather do it myself.
I've now decided that a bacon sandwich is going to help more than custard creams

so did I. Unfortunately, the ankle problem came up when he was renovating a flat to a very tight deadline so had to be away from the house for approx 8 hours a day (should have been more, but he took pity on me bless him and did pop home at dinnertime to make sure I had a drink and a sandwich)

Nightmare time so I can really relate to what you are going through

Its early days, & after your type of op you can expect not so good days. The discomfort will lessen. My mum is 18 months from hers. Just dont do as she did 8 months following her op, she fell knee first down some steps onto a hard tiled floor

I need a new knee but im staving it off for as long as i can
