An Itchy scar

Last year I cut my arm and it was all glued and striped back together..
My question for you nursey types .
Its started to itch and irritate me ...
Does that Bio oil stuff work ??
Any thing else that can help ??

I'm not a nurse & I haven't used bio oil but I sometimes find that my c-section scar itches, which is really annoying because it's actually numb (don't ask me how something which is numb can itch, but it does!) But I find E45 is good.

I had keyhole surgery last november and my scars itch if i get warm or stressed which is a pain as i have 5 of them

I havn't used bio oil yet as its so pricey although supposed to be very good, i use savlon on mine at the min but am looking for alternatives x

Diprobase is good. Surgeon in department i used to work in advised daily use of Nivea on scars - never tried it so dont know if it worked or not. Maybe mention itching to your GP?

I found 200ml Bio oil on amazon for £10.99 ,might be a worth try ..
