Our sons 'old' teacher

Tonight was our 9 year olds parents evening at school. His teacher left unexpectedly after one week back at school (and before you ask no, they have a lovely class) so they have a supply teacher until a permanent one is found.

Before going into school I asked him what his teacher was like......he told me he was old (ish) and spoke funny, so I thought I was going in to see a 60 year old, grey haired old man..............

Well you can imagine my total 'surprise' when I walked into class and found a 28 year old Australian, bronzed skin, very handsome young man............well the open evening I can't remember much about, but the teacher I can, so maybe I'll have to go back into school tomorrow to ask the questions I forgot to ask tonight

Now if Kieran thinks 28 is old, I hate to think how he describes me

I remember when i was a kid and 30 seemed ancient, lol.Then i went back to my old school to work and half the teachers were still there, i thought theyd all have been about 100 by then!!
