Lola ~ My 5 hour foster dog

This is Lola Taken to the rescue last week by her owners who didn't want her anymore. She'd been bought as a christmas present Dec 2010. They told Kymm that if she didn't take her they would have her put to sleep.

Thankfully Kymm did take her and contacted me about fostering her. I picked little Lola up yesterday, a shivering, terrified and bewildered pup. She is hand shy and terribly nervous until she gets to know you.

Got her home and did the intro's. All good and Lily accepted her straight away which is always a bonus! Cats are not bothered and Lola is the perfect little house guest.

Sadly we were only able to foster her for a few hours....

Lola is now a permanent member of our family! We all fell in love with her and couldn't stand the thought of letting her go. I'm such a failure!

Congratulations
When I started reading your post, I honestly thought something dreadful was going to happen to little Lola. What a wonderful happy ending for your new gorgeous little girl and for you and your family
Congratulations again on being such a failure

I'm sure lola is delighted that you are a failure.
There will soon be a smile on that sad little face after all the TLC and love she will get from you and your clan.
Its a good job most of your dogs are small, that means there's more room for other fosters lol.

Congrats on failing
She is lovely and deserves the happy life she will now get with you
I cant understand families who just get fed up of their puppy and are happy for it to be put to sleep
She looks totaly lovely, their loss, they didnt deserve her

Oh you rotten TORMENT! I was all poised to type 'what happened and where is she now?' when I read the last bit.

Phew! Another happy ending. Goodo. She looks lovely - I don't want to think too hard about 'hand shy'? It is not conjuring up good reasons why that might be?
