sutton park birmingham

I will be visiting my daughter in Oxfordshire next week and will need to let Tala have a run during the journey. Birmingham is about half way and only a minor detour. Just wondered if anyone wanted to meet for a walk in Sutton Park next Wednesday 28 October.

I'm gutted as I can't walk during the day (plus I adore Sutton Park which makes it worse). What time were you thinking?

I'm thinking late morning/early afternoon so that I can get to Abingdon before dark.
What a shame you can't come in the day time.

Oh no, Yogi would love to meet his half sister, Tala, but we live too far away.

I hope some Dogsey members can meet up and take lots of piccies!

We are planning a visit to Linlithgow in November so maybe we could pop and see Yogi on the way up .

Hi Irena,

I could make Wednesday lunchtime in Sutton Park. I warn you though - much of it is covered with cow poop so bring some wellies!

Great!

Can we meet in the car park near the lake at Boldmere Gate? That is the only bit I know well as I used to walk my dogs in Sutton park when I worked in Erdington and Sutton Coldfield. It's about 5 years since I was there last so hope it hasn't changed too much.

Tala is good with all dogs so hope you will be able to bring all of yours

Hi,

There haven't been any changes to the park tyhat I know of but it's only about 6 months since I started going there again.

I don't know if they charge for the car park during the week but the pub car park at the side as you go into Boldmere Gate is free. We could meet up there if you like.

I'd love to bring all mine - but couldn't get them in the car altogether. I have my 3, my Mom's dog, a rescue foster, and my Son - so one child, 5 dogs and me just don't go into anything less than a transit van! I could have fun trying though!!

Will most likely bring Zane and Yiannis though.

What time do you prefer?

Laura xx
