Whimper II!!

No sooner had I posted my last, than I had a phonecall from Goldfish Girl.
*The water is groggy, can you have a look at it?*

Groggy water, that's a first...after the sausage, the rum!

So...off I tootled, because, of course, I have nothing better to do than supervise someone elses fish tank...
I hadn't got so far as their front door when Husband came out...

"Can fish get fleas?"

"Well, " I replied, "Not as such, but they can get tics. Although it is highly unlikely that tank-bred fish will have them..."

Now...Number One Son has a Black Molly, called Speedy Harry...

I went in, and peered at the tank...

"Look!" exclaimed Goldfish Girl, "You can see the fleas in the water!"

Indeed you could. It was then that I realised that Speedy Harry was, in fact, Speedy Harriet...and the *Fish fleas* were her fry..

There is no way I am explaining *that* to Number One Son...
