chipped tooth

I was grooming Archie earlier and had a little peek in his mouth. One of his canines is chipped, it's squared off at the bottom

No idea what he could have chipped it on, but it doesn't seem to hurt or anything.

Does this happen a lot with milk teeth or should I be worried?

well he's been chewing the bark off a log for the past couple of days so it might be that...

the only 'hard' toys he has are nylabones and kongs... but I doubt they're hard enogh to chip a tooth

just had another peek and now the tip off the other canine has broken off too! I'm sure that one was ok when I looked earlier.... :smt017

I remember looking at his canines the other day and noticing that the tips were a slightly lighter shade of white than the rest of the teeth.... I'm confused now

Housedog he's on Burns and NatureDiet puppy so I would imagine he has enough calcium... he sometimes has a bit of yoghurt too...

Tuti, maybe he's just being a typical terrier and being over exuberant in all he does, including biting objects with intensity.

Because it is only a baby tooth you should be okay ..as long as he hasn't damaged the root ..sometimes this can harm the adult tooth in the gum ...
