I have a staywell magnetic one which is fine - even when the dog tries to ram her head through it & it falls to pieces - we still manage to re-assemble it!
The cat pretends she can't open it if someone is in & taps on it with her paw!
The magnet can be a bit of a pain as I have found the cat walking around with various things stuck to it such as a fork, nails & a cat food tin lid!!

We just leave the kitchen window locked open.

Having a cat and two dogs in the house, we've never had any trouble with other cats getting in...

Had just about all the brands of catflap, my cat seemed to lose any sort of collar put on her, was considering one of the microchip reader ones, but installed a dogflap instead to save me having to get up every time one of my five dogs needs to go out, so she now uses that. Never get any stray cats in.

We use a Staywell 4-way locking system. We have two of them and have had no problem
