Presents From Delilah's Friends (Pug)

As many of you will know our poor little Delilah is quite poorly, she was diagnosed with Hemi-vertebra at the beginning of this month, and unfoirtunately its just a matter of time before she's paralysed so we're very worried about her.

In our short time showing Delilah (2 months) we made lots of really lovely new friends who were so supportive and helpful! Many of them were members of a Pug Forum i use, and they have all been so great through all the problems and worry we've had with Delilah. Some of them had pugs (or knew of them) who had HV, so they knew exactly what we were facing and have been really supportive through the diagnosis, and giving us advice now we know the extent of the problems.

And today i had the most lovely suprise, one of our good showing friends had put together a parcel full fo cards and presents from other show people and their pugs! We had a huge parcel full of toys, treats, jewellery and other cute stuff! Anyway, io got some pics of Lil playing with her toys so thought i'd share a few here

Its been so nice to make so many lovely friends through showing Delilah! We had very little to do with the Lab show people as it is very 'cliquey' in that breed and we've only just started getting placed at champ shows, never mind anyone making conversation at them! But the pug people have been so welcoming to us and Delilah and i was just so touched by the gifts and messages they sent us, its nice to know that there are so many kind and thoughtful people in the showing world, which until recently we had always thought was quite a nasty environment!
