My welll behaved little girl

Well for the past week or so we've been really working on stopping Cassie pulling on the lead and barking like mad at walkies time. It's the only two little things we have left to deal with in her behaviour.
I'm thrilled to say we have 100% improvement in just over a week. The odd little whimper on the way out and the odd bit of pulling at a corner but what a change.
Everytime she barks on the way out, we sit back down again and wait for quiet. If she grabs the lead on the way out, we bring her back in. If she pulls, we turn around and go the opposite way.
Eureka, it's working. I really don't know why it works now as we've tried it before when she was much younger and it didn't make a bit of difference. Maybe my baby is finally grown up. Maybe she was too young before, but you know what? I'm not questioning it.
Well done Cassie, you're a little angel.

Weldone you, what an improvement!

It always seems to happen like that, they take no notice then one day it just clicks!

Thanks everyone. She's doing really well, bless her little heart. We've never had any huge problems with her but we're proud of how well she's doing.
