Yes I have spoken to them about that, but they would only move me into a 2 bedroom flat at the end of our road. No good with the dogs and that would be jumping out of the frying pan into the fire.

Thats stupid - they are crying out for family homes or so they say around here, can't see why Essex would be different.

No Bev You are right not to accept the flats in the same rubbish area, you'll have a cat in hells chance of an exchange from there, as you have a large house at least you have a bit of a bargaining tool, I hope she is being sincere as she could easily have said she'd changed her mind, give her a few days before you really forget about it, there is still hope and we all have our fingers crossed x x
