I emailed her again asking her to let me know if she didn't want to proceed any further.
She emailed me more or less straight back saying yes she did but she hasn't been well so not been checking any emails. She will email me when she feels better.
I want to believe her but they are the exact same words I have had from two previous people at exactly the same stage and you never hear from them again.
It just seems strange they have been too ill to check their emails yet when you ask them to let you know if they don't want to proceed they are reading their emails and contact you saying they will be in touch when they are well enough to email.

Just a thought if your house is too big for you around the B'ham area if you wsh to downsize the council give you more points and make you a priority move have you tried that avenue?
