I was in the catering industry for many years, but all outside catering events, all the Point to Points in the South East for firm's big parties, like SG Warburg and the other big wigs! From what we found, the favourites were the chocolate fudge cake and the banoffee pies, but these were massive catering sized ones which I got from Devillish Desserts, and they have grown so big now, you could actually have one in your area?? Even when we sold to the gp at Hickstead, we would put one on the counter, and it would be gone in 60 seconds, either of those! You couldn't go wrong with them anyway, that's what I'm saying!

Hi We are in the south east,
My boys would go for chocolate cake everytime, with the occassional victoria sponge, individual cakes must have chocolate chips in, and ginger bread men are a must!
I love lemon sponge and flapjacks.
We don't sound too healthy do we?
