What is your favorite cake

Ok folks i need your help

I have taken on a catering operation in Waterfoot (north manchester area) and am soon to be back in the cafe /resturant industry........
I worked as a head chef down south but want a bit of insight into what people like from all other the place and if it varies by region, this will be the first of many questions!!

Favorite cake??
