Converting KM to Miles

Hello,

Can anyone help me please, in my scooter handbook it states that theoreticaly it can travel for 38KM on the batteries that are supplied, my question is how far is 38KM in miles? Any bright sparks out there?

Thanks in advance

Ian

kilometers (European spelling: kilometre) One kilometer is equivalent to 1,000 meters or 0.62 miles

So to my reckoning that about 32.5 miles?

I think that is right, seems a long way.

The reason I am asking is that I have to go to the next village which is about a 3 mile round trip but it is up and down hill.

I thin it will be ok to go though.

Ian I used to have a scooter and I went to work on it, that was up hill and down dale and the journey was 10 miles each way so I think you will be ok

Thanks, it's only that it is new to me and I haven't a idea of what it will do, it is a case of trial and error, if you know what I mean. That's a long way to go, it would have been ok in the summerm but I bet it was rough in the winter?

Thanks again

Hello there, Ian!

Divide by eight, then multiply the result by five - close enough for jazz!
