My previous dog was walked on a gentle leader,only way I could guarantee our safety,he knew it meant going out for a walk and would willingly put his nose straight in,Ollie on the other hand hates them but will wear a harness as he is a dog bred for cart work he has no problem and again like you H&K we enjoy our walks I am hoping one day he will walk nicely on the lead if he doesn't we are both more than happy with the solution we have found.
