His Story: Alex was found stray June 2013 and came into our rescue kennels on the 3rd July. He was neutered, chipped, wormed, frontlined and fully vax'd. Alex was homed soon after, but his owner has needed to go into sheltered accommodation and is returning him into our care mid March. Currently in his own home until 14th march when he comes into kennels near Godstone, Surrey.
Advert: Alex is a Smart Alex! He stands proud, loves to run and is off lead meeting dogs, once connected with his owner in safe areas. He travels well in the car. Alex is calm indoors, isn't destructive and is well mannered. Alex is very affectionate and likes to give you his paw. He is sensitive and gauges the appropriateness of his behaviour and for this reason he would suit living with older children.
Alex is a black Labrador x Staffie with a white spotted throat and about 19" to the shoulder. He has a mellow Labrador feel with a friendly out going temperament. Alex is around 2 years old and makes friends with everyone and quickly trusts though he can get spooked with sudden movements or noises. Alex is a real gem of a dog and you'll never regret choosing this boy as your friend for life.
