An Irish Blessing

I suddenly remembered this when I saw Snorri mention Gaelic. I hadn't even thought of it in about 4 years. My dad taught me it when I was little (about 6 or so). I think its one of the more common of our sayings.

May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
the rain fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of his hand.

And now for the gaelic bit. (irish gaelic) I almost have forgotten all the spelling. Don't think I could even say it now

Go n-éirí an bóthar leat.
Go raibh an chóir ghaoithe i gcónaí leat.
Go dtaitní an ghrian go bog bláth ar do chlár éadain,
go gcuire an bháisteach go bog mín ar do ghoirt.
Agus go gcasfar le chéile sinn arís,
go gcoinní Dia i mbosa a láimhe thú.

It made me think of DW for some reason.
