Choose Your Dog Books, On Target?

I'm a helpless bookworm...But one subject I can't help but pick up are the guides that profile breeds. Informative if I'm not familiar and amusing sometimes if I am. There was one in the library by Animal Planet the other night.

I don't think they had "American" Staffies, but Staffies in general. "Tend to bond strongly to one person"...I chuckled reading it. Then later that night...grown son wanted his back scratched...I have long acrylic claws EVERYBODY loves me to scratch their back.

Son got beside me and we settled down to watch TV. Sophie gave a whine and inched in close. Son stretched briefly and Sophie nosed fully behind him. As he turned she began to obsessively lick. "No I can't outright growl at you but I can lick until you move."

Book was right on target.
