Hi All, I am now back home! Thanks to everyone for their kind wishes, Iso txt me yesterday and told me you had all been wishing me well!

I was discharged about 5:30 last night with 3 lots of pain killers, some plasters to keep the wound dry in the shower, and after refusing to have tea there!!

Mum and Ste stayed there all day with me, and then we went out for tea - I had steak!

Don't remember much about the op (obviously), but I remember crying just before they put me under, I remember them taking the tube out of my throat and crying again, then I also cried when I got back to my room and saw my Mum!!

I had a bad night last night, and was in a lot of pain, but woke up and dosed myself on codeine! Still in pain now, and never realised how much it would hurt
I cant turn my head very well, and can't look up/down!!
I also need some dressings for the shower, as the ones the nurse gave me are only an inch long, and my wound is at least 2 inches long!!

Going to rest today, and watch films or tv!
Not allowed to drive for 48 hours due to the general aneasthetic, but can't turn my head anyway, so would be a danger!

Teagan is in the kennels, as we had to be out over 12 hours yesterday, so my Mum is going to pick her up later for me!
Cant wait for Teagan kisses!

Sorry I missed this all but so pleased you are over the op...fingers crossed for a full recovery and no more treatment.

When I had the tumour removed from my throat I couldn't move my head much but it transpired it was the dressing that was preventing me moving...I hope you start to feel a lot more comfortable as things start to settle down..you'll feel better once you've got your girl home too. xx

Thankyou
I have no dressing on, so I think it's cos my skin is tight and sore!
The painkillers are working a bit now, so I can move a little better!

Thanks Lynn

Thanks everyone
Just taken another pain killer - I'm taking them with a few hours in between, so when 1 wears off, i'm still covered by another lol

Really uncomfortable and hurting though! Didn't think I was this much of a wuss!
