Hi Sherree!

The procedure for my donation is pretty simple actually. I inject myself with a biological growth factor for about 4 days beforehand to increase my stem cell production, and the donation is done using a machine a bit like a dialysis machine. It should take a day (possibly 2) and I just sit hooked up to the machine letting it filter my blood for the stem cells.

That's it -I just go home afterwards!
