Day Out. Cotebrook Shirehorse Centre. plus otters/foxes/deer etc...(pic heavy)

we have just got back from a day out at Cotebrook Shire Horse Centre. It is run by a friend from agility and I am very jealous that she has all these wonderful animals literally on her doorstep.I only had my baby camera with me so will have to return with my big one soon. There were otters which are part of the national breeding programme, red deer, red foxes which were rescued as pups and loads more animals. my youngest had a whale of a time. We had to lead a wandering shire foal back into it`s paddock and my dad tried to catch 2 runaway piglets who were intent on raiding the corn sack from the grain room.(missed video moment)... I hope you enjoy the pictures. (the deer were a long way a way and the red foxes were shot through glass in a half lit room.)

Shire horses and foals. they have had 7 foals this year.

Piglets.

Red deer.

Otters.

red foxes

It is a great day out as you can see. Thanks for sharing.

Near Northwich in Cheshire ( roughly) they have a web-site with a map though which might give you more detail.
