Edward William J Savage played the last Steven. Me thinks this Steven is a different actor.

Just been doing some detective work on the Internet, and looking up that William Savage, it also showed the picture of that chap playing the new Steven in 2007 and his name is Aaron Sidwell. So Aaron Sidwell is playing the new Steven.

I've just read this on a website about Steven Beale:

In November, Steven is set to kidnap Lucy, which leads to one of the soaps longest ever residents (not Ian!) to leave.

I'm so glad I found this thread! I've watched Eastenders all week to find out who was torturing Ian, to be presented with a character I'd never flippin' seen before!
