Combi Boiler - Problems

Just thought I would mention to you all as the central heating will be coming on soon...

We had a problem with our Combi boiler last night, hot water fine but as soon as we switched the heating on the pilot light went out. The boiler is 10 years old but serviced regularly - service due now!!

Oh had spoken to a plumber who suggested this and that but to no avail.... so we got a quote for a new boiler !

Then I suggested we got a second opinion, so called a guy we know who is Corgi Reg, and he talked oh through a load of procedures over the phone.... and hey presto got the heating back on.

It was the water pump...... so if you have problems with your boiler... please check the pump as this may save you a lot of money!!!

Fire up those boilers peeps before it gets too cold and you are sitting there freezing!!!!! Test them out now, just to be sure....
