A year later & he still likes the snow, Rough Collie.

Hunter, pictured at fourteen months. He's turned out very nicely, still has a lot of maturing both physical & mental to do. A nice moderate rough though, daft as a brush and he still loves snow ever since his first walk was in it around this time last year!
I don't really take many photos now..since I hate the nikon d90 I brought, just don't work well with it at all, but snapped a few this morning in a rare free moment. Her ladyship won't have anything to do with the snow however, I did try get some photos indoors of her but they all came out blurry. Hate the camera indeed.

lovely photos, what a wonderful looking dog.
bit disappointed where we live, as the snow has only settled on cars and rooftops and is now melting so my pup will have to wait to see his first snow...hope we get some lol.

He looks good Luke

Did you buy the Nikon D90 new or was it second-hand? DSLRs can take a bit of getting used to but try the auto or P modes. I know it sounds boring but reading the manual helps a lot.

If you want something simpler to use you can always sell it and get a compact - as they're usually mostly automatic.

Thanks folks.
And Azz it was new but I just can't get to grips with it, loved my nikon d40 and liked the cannon I briefly had before that. This one just doesn't seem to suit me. Definitely wouldn't go back to a compact, I'm too into my photography & I miss having a camera I really enjoy working with. I may look at one of the new panasonic type ranges, or try out a cannon as I just hate this one.

I was considering upgrading but kept uhmming and arring as I really liked it, but wanted something new to play with, but I opted against replacing. But then the shutter release and a few other things went on it after it got knocked, so I opted to buy an upgrade. Not sure what I'll go for.
