Thanks guys ..already registered with ebuyer and had my eye on the LG model as I said above The one I was originally going to buy was an LG 19'''CRT at £99

I saw the ones on ebay and though tempted I prefer the peace of mind of buying new when I am spending a lot of my hard earned money
If there is a problem it is hard to return items to ebay and they do not carry a 3 year warranty

Am also a member of 'Which' but their report is out of date and covers the 17'' only.
Thanks again for your help, most appreciated...unless I hear different will go with the LGL 19" TFT 12ms

Hi Mini

I generally steer clear of ebuyer as I've heard they can be a pain if things go wrong...

Also, Micro-direct are very competative when it comes to monitors, check this 19" Samsung TFT out: http://www.microdirect.co.uk/product...productID=8830 at £199 (17" is £158 and more than adequate)

Samsung are rather good - they make a lot of the componants for most makes these days. When I built next doors computer they bought the 17" version and must say it is excellent

Microdirect are also, good - although I've never had to return anything (which is a good sign?).
