Kiara's cross??

I was speaking to someone today and he asked what cross Kiz was so I said GSD x BC and he said he'd have put money on her being a GSD x Lab

She does have more of a chase drive than a herding drive and she loves water, most of her other characteristics are GSD though The guy also said he legs are more Lab than BC as they're shorter and stumpier

What do you think? Not that it really matters but it just got me thinking

Perhaps all 3, she does have some features of lab and some of collie.. We always say Sadie is a JRT x Collie, but now she's getting older everyone thinks Staffie x..

IMO she looks like a BC x GSD, unless you actually saw the parents though I guess there is no way of knowing

Can't see it myself, although you never know.

I know crosses can vary a lot between individuals but this was our Lab x GSD


I used to know someone with a GSD x BC and he looked very much like Kiara.

The collie in her is very obvious to the eye. It could be she has lab in her too. I can see lab in her too but that could just be the X she is. Maybe one of her parents were a GSD x LAB and the other a collie etc.

My old GSD (a stray) had pups which looked identical to yours, all were homed by the RSPCA as GSD x LABS.

I can't see the lab in her at all. I can see the border collie and GSD. My guess is if there is any retriever at all, it would be a golden retriever rather than lab.

Can instantly see the collie in her. Perhaps a mix of all 3.

I don't see lab either! Maybe just 'cos she's black? You can't see particularly well in this photo but she has the same body shape as well.

Looks like a typical GSD x BC to me and I have seen a fair few.
