Poor Culotte

Its dog school day today and normally Culotte really loves it,I know at the moment there is a GSD there that she really is not happy about, (it is very unsocialised and lunges at the other dogs) but she was really not into it today. When I told her to lie down she rolled on her back and there on her tummy/thigh was a really nasty gashso I took her straight to the vets. The vet had a look and decided stitches so we did it under a local she has one internal stitch as 4 external. She was a really good girl and laid on her back as the vet did all the cleaning and the stitches, what a brave girl. I think she must have done it this morning on barbed wire when she was out walking with he OH, the dogs just run through the fields like loonies when they walk with him

Oh dear, lucky you found it, hope she recovers soon and feels a bit better.

She is being such a good girl with her stitches she hasnt even had her lamp shade on
