Getting a new pooch at the weekend!!

Mine and my OH friend offered him a patterdale terrier bitch called Tilly, the other day and he said yes without asking me first!
This annoyed me, because I had the chance to get a lab pup sired by our Hamish, but OH said no, we aren't getting any more dogs this year!

Anyways.....

She moves in on Sunday, after being well traveled first, she's going from Norfolk to Winchester tomorrow, the Winchester to Scotland on Saturday, and then she will have a 40 minute drive to get to us from the friend that is bringing her up for us!

Tilly lived with my OH for 6 months last year (before i moved in with him), and he did loads with her, taught her recall (she used to run off) and made her a bit less dog aggressive! But upon returning to her real owners, she was put in her 'kennel' (a small box in the garden) and has had hardly anything done with her!

I am quite excited about getting her back, she can be quite a loving dog! I just have to keep her away from my spaniels, because she has already attacked Gracie before!!

She will definetly be better cared for that what she was by her current owners, she will get at least 2 walks everyday, plus lots of garden time, regular meals (I'm not saying she wasn't fed all the time bu her current owners, but I know of at least one occasion when they ran out of dog food, so gave the dogs a bone each for dinner!!!!!!!!!!!) and lots and lots of cuddles!!!

I'm going to be doing a whole load more 'positive reinforcement' with her too! So I'll have 3 dogs in training and 3 that just need a bit of reminding every now and again! I'm going to be a busy little bee!!

I'm getting quite excited though!!
