I know exactly what you mean. I have a friend with 11 labs and she takes 4-5 to each show. I thought labs were calm, ploddy dogs until I saw hers in the ring "enjoying" themselves, then one day I had to handle one - I didn't know there was a breed that could publicly embarrass me quite as much as a Dalmatian until I took Chockie Drop into the ring she's waaaaayyyyyy past puppyhood, officially
