Wish me luck

Tomorrow "Big Momma" Chloe is entering her first Veteran class at URC

She has not been shown in about a year, for very good reason. At our last show, held at an equestrian centre in their sand school, Miss Chloe decided that trot was not the most flattering gait so bounded around the ring, and when the judge examined her she rolled on her back and, well the only word that can explain it is "shimmied". Yes, she shimmied about 3ft across the ring on her back kicking sand in everyones face, including the judge, before i could bodily drag her onto all four feet... Oh, how i wished the ground would open and swallow me that day

Due to the shame she brought upon herself and us, Chloe has been banned from showing, until now. This is her last chance to prove that she CAN behave like a lady in public. No bounding, no rolling, no presenting our ample rear to the judge with head on the floor and absolutely NO SHIMMIEING!!!!!

Anyway, please wish us luck. I have a feeling she will be shockingly badly behaved....

Here's the little monster, if anyone wants an elderly deliquent lab....

My mum has threatened to video Chloes fun in the ring.. At least you lot will have some entertainment tomorrow

Good luck Jessica. Sorry it made me laugh this is what Ollie does when out on walks. One of the reasons for not showing him. I would also be wishing the ground would swallow me up. I am sure she will behave herself today.

Ok, well it wasn't TOO bad

She stood nicely, thought didnt want to let go of the rabbit skin for the judge to look at her teeth lol And mostly she bounded across the ring instead of trotting nicely, but she enjoyed it. She didnt get placed (hardly suprising as we were competing against champions!!!) but she had a lovely day out, and her son Beau got 2nd in a very nice Junior class, and we had some really good comments about him outside the ring
