Kodi at Lanark Show 9th Feb

Hi all

Just thought I'd let ya know, Kodi got another 4th/reserve, in Junior Rottie, he was also in Graduate Rottie but never got anything, didnt think he would considering the other dogs in the class. He was entered in an AV Stakes class, but we got bored waiting and left before it.

He was still excited about the judge coming over but managed to contain it to just moving his front end to get right in close to her, which is a huge improvement from last week lol, But the judge seemed happy that he was happy lol... and he stood pretty still, as still as he has ever done so far, for her. however she was saying goodboy to him the whole time, which actually helped cos he was happy she was talking to him aswell as 'petting' him

He also from what I could tell moved pretty good, Well he didnt try to bite the lead() and didnt try to run just had the right pace

Didnt get any pics as my gran took me and she doesn't know how to use my camera as it's a dslr, But will take a pic of Kodi later with his place card and post it on here

H iMegan and welldone To you and Kodi.

It makes such a difference when you get a judge who speaks to the dogs, especially with youngsters likeKodi, really puts htem at their ease.

Thanks Eunice
Yeah she seemed really nice, and her talking to him made him happy but not excited happy, and so he stood there quiet nicely for her, It's a pity we didnt stay for the av stakes one as it was the same judge, so Kodi would have been happy

Thanks Denis, lil bugga just had to have his front foot out of place But can't be mad at him as atleast he stayed standing with this judge

And nope that isnt a show lead, he stands/moves better with his normal half check on, so going to have to try and find a plain black web thinner version of his current one
