do you have to join a club...

to do agility?? I wsa just wondering, I know I more than likely will joina n agility club, now Flower is coming up to a year old, but do you have to be a member of a club to participate in an agility competition?

You don`t have to be a member of a club to compete, no, but I think its always better to train at a club with experienced instructors who will guide you and help you avoid getting handling habits which you might find hard to break, and of course the socialisation side does help if/when a dog goes on to compete, it can be overwhelming to many if they are not used to an atmosphere with other dogs training

Thank you... Thats what I thougt Patch, Flower does get very excited, so it would be good for the socialisation side! Im going to wait until its lighter nights, as the agility class is on a night time I think! x
