yes, I just wondered if anyone had personal experience of it. I have googled it too.

My son has it. Started in his early thirties and affects the little finger on his left hand. He's had it operated on twice, but it returns. This time, he's adamant no more ops, but it does cause him pain, particularly in winter, so if and when it gets worse again, we will have to see.

If you visit the The Bill Nighy Experience website it tells you all about.

Bill Nighy has it hence why his finger are like they are.
I believe Margret Thatcher also had it.

Hi Brierley, thanks for the reply,
It seems the success of the op. is the luck of the draw. Several people have said it often comes back. At the moment it isn't bothering me too much but I am noticing both my wedding ring and little finger are beginning to be slightly affected. Quite scarey when you google it so hence my asking here.

Thanks Pippam, funnily enough someone just told me MT had it and had an operation. Will go and have a read on the Bill Nighy blog. Should be informative.

Actually couldn't find any real info. about it on the site, only mentioned that he had it, am I missing something?
