Rescue Remedy - Anyone Use This?

Does anyone give this?

If so, can you tell me what you give it for, where do you get it and what is in it? Do you give it regularly or just as needed?

I've seen mentions of it wrt seizures and calming dogs if they're over-excited, highly-strung, overwrought/anxious.

Thanks in advance.

My next door neighbour gives it to one of her staffies on the run up to firework night as he is petrified of the noise-poor little thing -i'm not sure of the amounts she gives him though.

(If you mean the little yellow bottles you get from boots then yeah) I've used it myself! It's FANTASTIC! Never thought about giving to a dog though If it doesn't harm them, then its a great idea, if it works as well for them as it does for me then go for it I'tll be great if they get a bit anxious about travelling or going to the vets.

I used to give it to my lab when we was younger cos he was very over active and easily excitable. He is still very excitable but much mroe settled now (he is a rescue dog)
Does anyone think it would help calm my pup when left? She howls and lot and obviously suffers from seperation anxiety which we are working on overcoming. Just wondering if this might help her while we are getting over over her SA?

x
